A nod to traditional Jamaican flavors, tender and slow-cooked pork melds perfectly with sweet potatoes and red onions.
- Arrange pork, sweet potatoes and onions in the bottom of a crock pot.
- In a mixing bowl, combine jerk seasoning, salt, pepper, cornstarch and tamarind nectar - whisk until smooth then add water.
- Pour mixture over pork and cook on low for 9 hours (or high for 6 hours).
