Now, my freezer is fully stocked with all cuts of venison; cutlets, loins, chop meat, roasts and just about everything in between, and the nutritional benefits it provides my family cannot be understated. You see, venison is one of the leanest, cleanest meats you can eat. It contains no hormones or antibiotics, and barely any fat. Just pure meat. Cooked properly, venison has no game taste at all, which should be of importance to most people who say they don't like venison due to the gamey aspect of its flavor. I say with certainty it is not the flavor of the meat itself, but rather, the fact that they have just never had it cooked properly.
This is a great recipe for a newbie game eater. Besides its delicious flavor, it's fast and easy too!
* In this dish, you can substitute venison with grass-fed organic beef, shrimp, or organic chicken. I actually added some hot pepper sauce on top as well. Delish!!!
