Snicker Doodle Shake

Snicker Doodle Shake • Foodidude.com
I started to drink shakes daily as part of my clean-eating and exercise habits. I chose Shakeology because is contains vitamins, protein, fruit, vegetables and pro-biotics in every scoop. Before Shakeology, I drank a plain vanilla or chocolate protein shake and added some of those things to it from time to time. I even took a multitude of vitamin supplements everyday. When I first found out about Shakeology, for me, it was a no-brainer because I was getting everything I needed in one drink! Plus I can still add fruits and vegetables for an added bonus - sometimes I even add coffee!

When I first started on the shakes, I was still taking my vitamins, but in truth, I didn't feel so hot. I came to find, I really didn't need all of what I was previously taking because they are included in my shake. Since then, I've cut back on my vitamin intake significantly, and with it, I've saved money. Consider the fact that I was taking at least 8 different vitamins a day, some 3 times a day.
Whew! Shakeology just makes sense, it costs me $4 a day to drink and has all of those extra bonuses. Plus I can make them into any flavor I want, like today for instance when I made a Snicker Doodle shake. I love snicker doodle cookies and now I can have the flavor of them without the guilt!!

    about me...

    Picture
Hi! My name is Jessica Troncillito. I am a wife and the mother of one son who has made some pretty big changes in her life. You see, coming from a traditional Sicilian family who spent hours together around the table during our huge Sunday dinners, I've always been into food. Cooking, baking and of course, "eating" were passions that have basically surrounded me since birth.

The joy my grandparents found in their garden and canning their harvest has left an indelible mark upon me, and I still have fond memories of my grandmother baking cookies, apple pies and cheese cakes for nearly every occasion.

Fortunately, that same love and joy of cooking has been passed from my grandparents to my mother, and ultimately, onto myself.

I love to cook and absolutely feel at peace in the kitchen. But as I began to grow older, health and nutrition played a larger roll in my daily meal preparation and my approach to the cooking rituals I'd been exposed to since childhood changed dramatically. I began a regimen of cooking leaner and cleaner - not only for myself, but for my family as well - and the results have been undeniable.

Here, on "Lean & Clean Eating with Jess", I'd love to not only share with you the person I've become today, but also, the recipes and lifestyle tips that got me to where I am and can help bring about a healthier you!
